Letter J, Letter D and Review

We made jingle bell bracelets and sung the jingle bells song.  We practiced some patterns and we developed our fine motor skills when we put the beads onto the bracelets.
We learned the letter J and dug around for jewels and letter J's.

We made jello art.  We put glue down and then put jello powder on the glue.  The jello instantly turned into it's dark rich color after it touched the glue.  The kids loved seeing the colors and smelling the yummy jello.

Letter D
We got to eat some Dragon Fruit.    We made a graph to show who liked the Dragon Fruit and who didn't like the Dragon Fruit.    Each child came up and put an X on the graph to mark whether they liked it or not.   Only one child didn't like the taste.   We enjoy discovering new flavors!

We played the game "Doggy, Doggy, who has your bone."

We created beautiful DOT pictures.

Letter L
We played a lights game where we had to jump over the moving lights without touching them.

We used our creative skills to put together our own licorice ladies.  They ended up turning into whatever the children imagined.

As part of our Letter Review, we pulled items out of a bag and we had to place them onto their corresponding letter.  We are learning to recognize the sounds the letters make in words.

Just for fun, we created some snowmen!

And we just had to eat them too!  There's nothing quite as great as getting to eat what you create!
