I hope your child told you the story of the Very Hungry Caterpillar using the food and the bag, and then took the B Butterfly come out of the bag at the end of the story as the "Beautiful Butterfly"

Field trip to the Bakery and the Grocery Store. We learned about frosting and coloring a cake.
We got to see their large mixer and how they mix up large batches of dough.
The large refrigerator at Broulims was large and cold. We didn't stay inside too long.
Together, we made bread. We poured in the ingredients and mixed them together. As we did each step we sang: This is the way we mix the dough.... and This is the way we knead the dough....
We got to see and smell some of the produce in the produce section at the grocery store.
We observed how many different colors the fruits and vegetables are.
Bouncing and hopping on one foot, we worked on our gross motor skills.
Experimenting with bubbles and paint we created beautiful pieces of art. They are going into to our alphabet art books that we are taking home at the end of the school year.
We had a blast hitting the balloon with the letter B on it. We developed our hand-eye coordination and laughed with our friends. If I shouted out uppercase B, they had to hit the uppercase B and if I shouted out lowercase b, the had to hit the lowercase b.
